Water Districts Map

The Water Districts Map recognizes the boundaries of various potable water districts in Pinellas County. These districts are administered by certain municipalities (outlined in blue) and by the county government (remainder of county). Some municipal water districts extend outside of their city limits.

Much of the water supply for Pinellas County is purchased from Tampa Bay Water, but some districts own their own wells. Because treatment methods differ slightly from one district to the next, the taste, hardness, and cost of potable water may vary in different parts of the county.
