Countywide Future Land Use Plan Map

The Countywide Future Land Use Plan Map (FLUP) is a regulatory map that has been adopted, along with the Countywide Future Land Use Plan, as a part of the Countywide Comprehensive Plan for Pinellas County. This plan delineates the allowable categories of land uses that may be established on each parcel in the county.

The 25 local jurisdictions, required by Section 163 of the Florida Statutes to maintain their own future land use maps, must be consistent with the FLUP under the special act of the Florida Legislature (Chapter 88-464, Laws of Florida). Requests for amendments to the map may be made, but must follow a specific amendment process established in the special act.

Future Land Use designations for specific parcels may be obtained by contacting our office.
