The Planners Advisory Committee

The Planners Advisory Committee (PAC) provides technical input and makes recommendations on matters before the Council. The PAC is comprised of the directors of the various local government planning departments, or other selected representatives, and meets with PPC staff on a regular basis to review items being brought before the Council. The PAC is an additional source of professional input to the Council's decision-making process. Major components of the PAC effort include the reviewing land use plan amendments to maintain consistency with the Countywide Plan, reviewing voluntary annexations, and providing input into major projects such as the Pinellas by Design redevelopment plan and Countywide Plan.
